Noisy Escape : In 100 Words

Fleeing fiercely through razor-bright underbrush, I couldn't even attempt stealth. The difference between jewel-encrusted shrubbery and, um, regular bushes seemed to be a matter of cacophonous clatter. Never having mastered Krena's trick of silent maneuvers, I did not even try.
Unbidden, my thoughts winged back to the first carefree day I spent wandering the woods with Krena. How she'd shown me up when it came to scaling the shining heights, leaping and swinging between trees, wrapped on every side by light refracted through sharded leaves. I'd galumphed recklessly along below, where the lively spangles melded into shadow.

Hmmph. Still galumphing.
