Dear Ones,
It has been long since I have seen your faces, but know that the memory of them burns bright. My heart yearns for the comfort of home, which, oddly enough, seems to be wherever you are. I had nothing, was nothing, before you took me in. I can never repay that kindness, but I shall never forget it. If I learned nothing else during my time in your company, I learned at the very least that family does not constitute those related by blood alone. It is what we make it. You are my family.
