A Royal Family : In 100 Words

Megean rode high on Will's shoulders, directing his steps by imperious hair-tugs. Jeremy and Merit were racing haphazardly across the meadow, and Meri was letting the lad win...barely. The royals hung back, following arm in arm, laughing at the antics of their adopted clan.

They were a hodgepodge bunch, to be sure, with nary a one of them related to another by blood. Circumstance, mutual need, and tricky inheritance laws had snatched each from various positions in life, abruptly raising them to royalty status, sworn to serve the traditions, values, and will of the People.

Today, however, was about Family.
