Bed of Justice : In 100 Words

She'd made her bed. Now she'd lie in it. Justice deemed that she do so.

But when she looked back at the wreck of her life, and pondered the decisions she'd made, motivated by discontent and misplaced ambition, her resolve to bear it wavered.

She'd had a family once, a husband who adored her, a child - a little girl - who'd nestled content in her arms. Merciless regret clawed at her, as memories of happier times loomed large and haunting in retrospect, but it was all too late.

She'd raised up an empire, and now she must fall alongside.
