She was tied to the earth by intangible threads she could not hope to unknot. Duties never requested, never volunteered for, weighed her down. But honor was everything, so she kept on, resolved not to let loved ones down. By day, responsibility was fulfilled; by night, inspiration was indulged. She couldn't have both though, not if she wanted honor too. So, she sacrificed the latter to the former, with reluctance, not joy -- not this time. The cycle had continued on for far too long. She knew where it led... again and again and again... Unbidden, resentment simmered up slowly. What began as a means to practice discipline in writing... by the grace of God, has transformed into a means to practice discipline in life. "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth...And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another...And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ..."
